This is a recording of the famous and much-loved prayer by Ibn ʿArabī known as al-Dawr al-aʿlā (The Most Elevated Cycle) or Ḥizb al-wiqāya (Prayer for Protection). This inspired invocation, in which each request is structured according to a pair of Divine Names and ends in the Name Allāh, is here presented in a beautiful new recording by Hany Ibrahim.
