'a travel experience with a spiritual dimension'

Our 2019 'In the Footsteps' tour of Andalusia in October is now fully booked - more information here. We will be announcing details of how to join the conference in Murcia soon - October 3rd-5th. This 2-day conference entitled The Unending Journey will be the beginning of a journey into the world of Ibn 'Arabi in a different way: not only visiting historical sites and understanding our human past, especially through the interaction of the Islamic, Christian and Jewish worlds in medieval Andalusia, but also travelling alongside the writings of Ibn 'Arabi in the places he knew and describes in his works and seeing how these apply to our experience of being human.

We hope you will enjoy looking at the Publications we produce and browsing through the information pages. There is a section devoted to Ibn ʿArabi, including his writings, and stories which he relates about people he met and places he visited.

Ibn 'Arabi was a contemporary of many great figures in the Islamic world, such as 'Abd al-Qadir al-Jilani, as well as in the Christian and Jewish traditions, such as Francis of Assisi.

Or perhaps you would like to join us on one of our popular 'In the Footsteps' tours which will take you into the world of Ibn 'Arabi in a different way: not only visiting historical sites and understanding human interactions in the past, but travelling alongside the writings of Ibn 'Arabi in the places he knew and describes in his works.

If you would like to join our mailing list, please fill in the form here.
